Phi Sigma Phi Meeting Minutes
February 25th, 2007
President: Attended a Presidents meeting Thursday will all organizations. A lot of talk about facebook. Be smart about your image. Lets bring our grades up and go to class. House situation and leases needs to be resolved tonight. A monthly report is now required for us on for things that we have done.
Vice President: n/a
Treasurer: Money needs to be in for Nationals soon
Corresponding Secretary: Blood drive for Chi Lambda and Sigma on Tuesday.
Recording Secretary: Listen to Michael Murphy with his great advice.
Advisor: Not here tonight.
Sergeant: Keep attendance high and everything will be good.
Education: First associate meeting took place tonight. Make sure to make time for interviews.
IFC: Elections took place this week. Nish is the new IFC representative. New events are in discussion to help out our community.
Social: No socials
Athletic: N/A
Historian: Send Grommet pictures.
Philanthropy: Our Annual Ronald McDonald house trip will happen this spring. We will probably doing the Relay for life this week.
Publicity: Currently working on Spaghetti Dinner fliers to help support the Ronald McDonald house.
Brotherhood: Paintball event next Sunday. This is a mandatory event. Details will be sent out in an Email.
SSA: SSA chair to keep us updated on the organizational renewal.
Fundraising: Weather didn’t allow our brat feed Saturday. Try again next week. Spaghetti Dinner tickets will be distributed shortly.
Rush: We got a few new guys.
Info Man: Updated email list is out there. Currently updating the website.
Homecoming/ Greek Week: Greek week ideas and schedules are being tossed around right now.
Alumni: Turning in your alumni papers if you aren’t going to be active this semester.
House Manager: N/A
Formal: Ike Walton (two cabins rented out for e-board) for April 27th and 28th. Bring $20 to next meeting to go to formal deposit.
Scholarship: 4th floor Wednesday 4 - 6 p.m. (speak to Floss with questions). Stout foundation scholarship application is due February the 15th. We had the highest cumulative grades out of the fraternities this previous semester. Keep up the grades. There is a plaque for us being made through IFC.
